Core focus to be on strategic growth within rare conditions
April 18, 2022 — BioNews expanded its executive team and tapped industry strategy and analytics executive, Jennifer Loga as SVP of Strategy and Growth. In her role, Loga will oversee the B2B and B2C Marketing, Commercialization, and Business Intelligence departments.
“Jen is highly respected in the health and pharma industry and will play a pivotal role in marketing our organization to both people with a rare disease and to our clients,” noted Chris Comish, BioNews CEO. “Her leadership will position the company for continued success as we advance our commercialization and business operations.”
Most recently, Loga led Business Intelligence at Publicis Health Media and previously oversaw media strategy and analytics for Healthline Media. Loga brings a wealth of health media experience and was a key leader of Healthline’s substantial 6-year revenue growth.
BioNews publishes content for rare disease patients and connects them to clinical trials. “We forge direct, meaningful connections with hard-to-reach patient populations,” said Brian Keigley, president of BioNews Digital. “Jen’s experience and commitment to patients will complement that of our executive team, and I look forward to her insights at this exciting time for our company.”
BioNews owns and operates more than 80 websites and patient communities with a focus on rare conditions. Nearly 60 percent of BioNews employees have a rare condition and are embedded in the mission, content development, and marketing of niche patient journeys.
“In 2020, I lost my daughter Lucy to a rare disease. Since then, it’s been a passion of mine to impact people within the rare community,” said Jennifer Loga. “I’m humbled to work with incredibly talented people, and I aim to elevate their voices and experiences within in our industry.”
By the end of 2022, BioNews aims to employ more than 100 people with a rare disease.
